Hotel Actel Nagoya Nishiki

The hotel was located in the middle of all the interesting places in the city and was comfortable enough. We also liked how the hotel provided us with unlimited coffee and bathroom necessities as well as daily changes of towels and bathrobes.

The room was a bit cramped.

Good location; crowded outside: good for teens/young people who loves to party; not recommended for family with kids

Not good for family: a lot of young people drinking and smoking outside

I really liked the location of the hotel. It’s right in the middle of the action in Sakae—very close to the subway, surrounded by many different restaurants, and just steps away from the shopping area. There are also several convenience stores nearby, which is very convenient.I also appreciated that all the amenities in the lobby were available for guests to take, and I enjoyed the free drinks like coffee and hot chocolate.On top of that, the staff were very friendly, which made the stay more pleasant.

While I’m generally fine with the smaller room sizes in Japan, the room we were given was extremely tiny, with very little space to move around. The layout didn’t help either—the bed almost took up almost all of the space, making it difficult to move our suitcases during the stay.Also, the room could have been cleaner.

The location is very accessible and clean..free coffee and tea and all the daily change of towels..;) i really like also the cr..;)

The location is great if you want to be in the heart of Nagoya, close to shopping, transportation and nightlife. Hair masks, skin care products, bath salts and tea are offered free of charge by the front desk in the reception area on the 3rd floor.

Wi fi did not work at all, although it showed a very strong signal, the hotel is a bit worn down, especially the walls in the room. Also the area outside the hotel at night gets crazy with drunk people.

In general, I liked the hotel and found the service personnel to be very helpful. I felt well supported, and they were very kind. I found the amenity bar quite appealing and well prepared. They also offer additional amenities for lending, such as a hair flat iron.

Although the location is extremely convenient, immediately outside the hotel there were a few too many drunk people, and the atmosphere could feel a little heavy.

Location, provided amenities, and very good coffee

Room size is too small and narrow. It's hard to pack/unpack of the regular luggage, also there is no cabinet or shelf to place the unpack clothes.Weird logic of providing free bottle of water. It is provided only one time no matter how many nights we stay. It's not serious but unexpected.

One of the best hotel I ever stay in Japan!!!! Love every facility and room so comfy. The location very close to morning market of Takayama and other attraction place. DEFINITELY BACK HERE AGAIN

Great hotel lovely room, clean, great location

The room was clean, staff were lovely and the beds were the most comfortable we have slept in so far in japan. The curtains blocked out alot of the sunlight so we had a great sleep. Will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic single rooms close together with family. Very clean and comfortable. Great location. Great pricing!Very helpful staff.

The guest rooms, reception, and other common areas of the property were very neat and clean during our stay. The whole place exuded warmth. The reception desk personnel were all courteous and helpful.

I don't remember not liking anything during our stay at this property.

Staff could not understand English and could not solve problem effectively because she didn't fully understand the request.

Clean, comfortable bed, good amenities. Room is very compact, but just japanese standard.

Small Room

The hotel staff were accommodating and friendly. The hotel was near the station and different establishments where you could buy food and other stuff. Check in and checkout was also easy. Facilities were also functioning well and as described. Room was also quite spacious as well as the bathroom.

Value for money. It is near malls & convenience stores. It is just two stops away from Nagoya station.

The room interiors feel a bit dated. The area draws crowds at night making sleeping early a bit of a problem.

The room and facilities were great. They had women-only floors, and the coin laundry room was clean and the machine was efficient (washer+dryer, has a pin-lock so no one can mess with your stuff while it's inside).Also, there is a Daily Yamazaki with fresh bread just around the corner.

The area on the weekend is filled with young partygoers; on both Saturday and Sunday morning (8-9am) there were groups of them crouched on the sidewalk nearby trying not to puke.
